[comp.protocols.tcp-ip] SLIP for SGI

grossman@Sunburn.Stanford.EDU (Stu Grossman) (06/26/91)

Is there a slip implementation for SGI (Personal Iris's or Power Servers)? If
so, where can I get it from?

On a related topic, what brand of UART is used in the aforementioned systems?

You can get it from SGI; contact your sales person.

The newer systems (4D/35 and 4D/30) have have 8530 duarts (actually
a variant with a larger silo).
