in my previous msg, i uttered the word "disjoint", which is not entirely accurate. more correctly, "timod" and "tirdwr" handle a common set of msg types slightly differently, while handling other disjoint set of msg types very differently. in any case, sorry to add any confusion to the questions. *hwajin -- protocol engines, inc.
