     ``Language Features of L.''

     TIME: 3.30 PM

     ROOM: MC 5158

     ABSTRACT

Some novel features of the programming language L are
preented. Capabilities normally outside the scope of
compilable languages are provided. This includes the
ability to pass types as parameters, to define control
structures, to have persistent data and to execute
statements at compilable time. Rules are presented
that allow L to be compiled easily with full type secu-
     rity.
