Springer Verlag will soon be publishing a book about NeWS, called "The NeWS Book." It's mentioned in the Springer Verlag ad on the back cover of July '88 CACM. The blurb: "... The NeWS Book, by Arden, Gosling, and Rosenthal (forthcoming in 1988). Developed by Sun Microsystems and distributed as part of a standard UNIX package, NeWS provides a uniquely extensible interpretive programming environment for application developers in a networked graphics and window systems environment. I have been trying to track down "The NeWS Book" by Arden,Gosling,
Rosenthal with local (UK) suppliers; they inform me that it will
not be published until March/April 1989. Anyone got better info?
