From time to time NeWS seems to lapse into torturing me by
making the SHIFT and [more seldom] CONTROL keys go dead. I press 'em,
they don't work.
Since I now do all my development under NeWS, this is slowly driving
me insane. I've got a Sun-3/60C.....can anyone help ?

Try bopping on the L1 key a few times. That usually resets the keyboard when it gets confused about the state of the shift keys. (Like when you're typing real fast and it chirps and resets.) -Don
