The attempt to revive the Toronto chapter of the L-5 Society continues.
(The L-5 Society is one of the oldest space-advocate groups, aimed at
promoting space colonies in particular and space development in general.)
We're calling the chapter 'L-4' for the moment, because we are not yet
formally affiliated with the L-5 Society and we don't want to presume
on a relationship that doesn't actually exist yet. Next meeting is set
for this Tuesday, the 20th, at 1930 in room 251 of the Board of Education
building at 155 College St. The main event will be a talk on "Space
Shuttle Physics". There is a strong probability that we will also have
a film of one of the Apollo missions.
All are welcome; membership in the L-5 Society is not necessary at this time.
