Hi all, Here is an interim summary of where to obtain your very own copy of GoodNeWS. I am still waiting for replies from some archive sites. GoodNeWS is available from the following sites. I will try to keep everyone on my list up-to-date on GoodNeWS/HyperNeWS via e-mail and a humungous alias. Keep a weather eye on comp.winodows.news. Anything discussed in news-makers is invisible to me as I dont subscribe to it. USA --- GoodNeWS version 1.2 is also available via anonymous ftp from na-net.stanford.edu (36.8.0.154). Be sure to set binary mode, and get the file "pub/GoodNeWS/1.2.DEV.tar.Z" Now available for ftp on uunet.uu.net in the directory GoodNeWS1.2.DEV GoodNeWS is now available via anonymous ftp from tumtum.cs.umd.edu (128.8.128.49). Be sure to set binary mode, and get the file "NeWS/GoodNeWS.1.2.DEV.tar.Z". Germany ------- I put it on the next PD-tape of the Sun User Group Germany. Also GoodNeWS "only" requests will be processed if someone send me a tape (only inside germany). It is in file: GoodNeWS/GoodNeWS1.2.tar.Z HyperNeWS will be available in late July (according to Arthur van Hoff - the author). P.S. It's also on osu-cis for anonymous UUCP access. You'll find it in osu-cis!~/GoodNeWS/GoodNeWS1.2.DEV.tar.Z-part-??, parts -aa through -bm. Write osu-cis!uucp (== uucp@cis.ohio-state.edu) for instructions if you need them.
