Are you using the FrameInterests dictionary in the window subclass to put the interests for your menus on the child canvases in? If so, perhaps you are stepping on the Window's interests. If not, perhaps you are killing FrameEventMgr somehow?? Try putting in a "dbgbreak" call and look at the FrameEventMgr variable in your window. That's the process that handles all the events for a LiteWindow. See if it's running still. You can also look at the FrameInterests to make sure they are still intact. Do the windows go "off into limbo" after a particular sequence of events? Can you reproduce the problem consistently with the same actions on the users part??? Hey,NeWShackers! Does anyone of you netters know of a way to interface Fortran with the world of NeWS; 1. Does anyone know of an "interface toolkit" corresponding to the one for the C-language (i.e CPS) 2. My next question is if there is some simple and/or general way on how to passdata to/from an existing program (for instance a Fortranprogram written without any consideration to NeWS whatsoever and not likely to be rewritten) from/to a NeWSprogram, without having to write a CPS-like interface. For instance if I have a Fortranprogram running in one window and a NeWSprogram, with menu and/or buttonitems for simple input of datas or actions, running in another-How can I then pass the data corresponding to menu- or buttonselections to the Fortranprogram, the buttons could for simplicity be thought of as providing numbers or small strings who should be sent to the Fortranprogram by clicking. Every kind of constructive suggestion is highly appreciated and most welcomme.
