I have recently begun using "cm", the Calendar Manager tool which is part of the DeskSet Environment supplied with Sun's OpenWindows 2.0. My problem is that there are two Suns on which I work, and I want to transfer the "cm" database between them, frequently, so that I can update appointments on one machine, move a file or two, and see the updates when I invoke "cm" on the other machine. Both machines have the same name and I have the same account name on both. The "cm" program seems to store its information in /usr/spool/calendar/callog.user_name. However, transferring this file from machine to machine does *not* suffice. No doubt my understanding of how this file is used is faulty, but I couldn't find any other candidate for the repository of my appointment information. Any pointers to further documentation or ideas on how I might achieve my aim will be gratefully received.
