Don't suppose anyone has tried running MacNeWS under A/UX 2.0? I understand that Grasshopper are no longer supporting MacNeWS, so my question is is there anyway to convince a program looking for the toolboxdaemon (as under A/UX 1) to run under A/UX 2? I'm pretty ignorant of the ins and outs of A/UX, so comprehensive answers would be nice. ------------- David Lau-Kee Canon Research Centre Europe, 17/20 Frederick Sanger Rd, Surrey Research Park, Guildford, Surrey, GU25YD, UK. The program complains that toolboxdaemon isn't running. I created a dummy program in the hope that it just does a "ps" to verify it's running. I guess someone has to create a dummy toolboxdaemon that acts like the A/UX 1.0 program. Anyone know how easy it is to create a fake toolboxdaemon? -- Bruce G. A version of MacNeWS is available from the Grasshopper group. They have as yet not gone out of business and could use the support. Peter I'm ordering my copy monday!

I obviously meant a version that runs under A/UX 2.0 is now available. It is LIGHTNING fast on a IIfx. Peter
