I have run across this and wonder if it is a bug in the OpenWindows server or if it is just known behaviour of copyarea. I have a canvas and create some arbitrary clip path. Outside of the clip area I put some ornamentation around the window. I scroll an area out of the clip region and then want to copyarea that region back into it. It seems that copyarea is ignoring my clippath. It copies my ornamentation and everything else in the area with no regards to the current clippath. Are there any "clean" workarounds? Peter
