I'm curently bringing up some code under OW 2.0 that was originally developed using the Beta release of OW and OLIT. My program is using flat exclusives and I am receiving the error (via dbx): program terminated by signal BUS (alignment error) `FExclusive`DrawItem() at 0xf77332bc ... I made sure that all of my items are XtArgVal's and that the values match the resource names. I double checked which libraries are being loaded, etc. The executable created with the Beta release runs fine on OW 2.0. Can anyone give a list of changes WRT flat exclusives from the Beta release to release 2.0? Thanks, as they say, in advance. [BTW, the unit_test1 for flat exclusives also fails in the same way and also as an "unreachable statement" warning during compilation! This latter error could be a local sin -- not one to blame Sun first :-)] -- paul j. drongowski siemens corporate research inc pjd@demon.siemens.com princeton, new jersey 08540 (617) 734-6547

To the kind soul from Sun engineering who replied to my message about flat exclusives (and related problems), please resend. I just suffered a catastrophe :-) -- paul j. drongowski siemens corporate research inc pjd@demon.siemens.com princeton, new jersey 08540 (617) 734-6547
