I have heard there will be released a new Microsoft C compiler that can create 32 bit 386 code for Windows 3.0. It should be delivered together with the Software Development Kit 3.1. Does anybody out there know more about this? Do I still need a DOS Extender when I use this compiler? Can anybody give me a price indication? I'd be very glad to hear about it, as it would be an alternative to buying the WATCOM C 386/Windows compiler (not that it's bad or so!, but I want to know what's there for sale). Thanks alot Gerard van den Akker email: gak@media01.uucp or just post it in this newsgroup.

The world may never know... Just goes to show you how confusing the term NeWS can be... have you ever tried to describe to someone what you do at work: "Yes mom, I work on NeWS." "Oh! Will they be printing your articles in the Times or the Chronicle?" "No mom... NeWS is a window server..." "Well now, why preytell do windows need serving?" (It just gets worse from there) Couldn't have sun called it something else? PostView? (blech, maybe not) I won't even bring up tnt. >Gerard van den Akker Cool name. >[send mail] >or just post it in this newsgroup. please don't...
