The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, recently installed an IBM 3090/180E computer system using the VM/CMS operating system. Some Fortran applications running on this system require exponent ranges greater than 10E+78 and less than 10E-78 which is the normal range supported by the standard IBM Fortran VM compiler. Is anyone aware of any alternative Fortran compiler which will support exponent ranges greater than/less than the above. | Malcolm Wade, ASCnet: malcolm@csdgwy.csd.unsw.oz | | VAX/VMS Systems Group, PSI: PSI%0505226633020::MALCOLM | | University of New South Wales, Phone: +61 2 697 2835 | | Sydney, 2033, Australia.
