I have placed a new version of Berkeley Yacc in ~ftp/pub/byacc.tar.Z on
ucbarpa (IP 128.32.130.11). It is stored in compress format. The new
version fixes a few bugs and eliminates some dependencies on the BSD malloc
and free routines. Most of the changes were suggested by Peter S. Housel
at Purdue.
Berkeley Yacc now appears to be in good enough shape to be posted to the net.
I do not know what is involved in posting sources. I would be grateful if
someone would be willing to take responsibility for posting Berkeley Yacc
to the net.
