Several folks have asked about references to Object Oberon. In the interest of saving myself typing, I'm posting this to the group. The first version of Object Oberon appeared in H. Moessenboeck, J. Templ, "Object Oberon - A Modest Object-Oriented Language", Structured Programming, 10 (4), 1989 and a more extensive discussion appeared in H. Moessenboeck, J. Templ, R. Griesemer, "Object Oberon - An Object-Oriented Extension of Oberon", ETH Technical Report #109, June 1989. The extensions described in the above two articles are compatible with the SP&E definition of Oberon. Since that time, Prof. Wirth has revised Oberon and Object Oberon has been modified accordingly. The current language definitions are found in: N. Wirth, "The Programming Language Oberon", ETH Technical Report #111, Sept 1989. H. Moessenboeck, J. Templ, R. Griesemer, "Object Oberon - An Object-Oriented Extension of Oberon", ETH Technical Report #109, April 1990 (revised).
