A Posix System Administration working sub-group is looking for "existing practices" of "system monitors" to use as a possible basis for a system monitor specification to be included in the IEEE P1003.7 (Posix System Administration) standard. By system monitors, I not only mean things like vmstat, pstat, iostat et al, but nice tools like HP's monitor(8) or Sequent's monitor(8) (the two that I do know of). If you have a favorite nifty system monitor, please send mail.
