I have a MC5400 that also has C-KERMIT on it. I have not been able to use the KERMIT to dial out from the computer. Everytime I try to access one of the terminal lines, it complains about not be able to get exclusive use. Any ideas out there? Did you use "make bsd" or "make rtu" to create kermit? Generally, this problem results because kermit does not understand how to do UUCP line locking very well. You can solve this one of two ways.
