Please broadcast this message to the newgroup on behalf of Fred Sells and Larry Rogers, Defense Engineering Systems, Rhode Island: We're having trouble installing RTU v. 4.0A and X11 v. 1.1 on our Masscomp 5400 (8 MB, 19" Color GCM, about 9 months old). We were able to install RTU 4.0 and X11 v 1.0 successfully, but after installing the upgrades the system won't boot, even to the single user level. Concurrent Service has been unable to resolve the problem. During the last 2 weeks, they have only been able to suggest reinstallation from scratch, which we have done with no success. If you have a 5400 with a GCM 19" color that has these upgrades working, would you please call us (collect!) at (401) 847-7868. We just want to know if it can be done!!!!
