I've been taking a bit of flak from some Apollo folks who think I'm a meanspirited malicious dweeb. Let me clarify some things: 1) I love Apollo and Apollo computers. They are my absolute favorite Need I say anything more on this ? 2) What I say is WHAT I SAY, and should in no way reflect on Danford Corp., my current employer. If you think I'm a jerk, fine, I can live with that. But dont let that stop you from placing that P.O. for 400 SEU's. :-) 3) When I talk about 9.5 trashing disks, I'm deadly serious, as this loses mass quantities of potentially valuable data. When I talk about ADUS sig groups throwing sticks and spears at Apollo reps for non-delivery or promised items, take it with a BIG grain of salt. We all have lunch together afterwords. Wer'e still friends. Honest. Really. 4) So, if i post something and is really irks you, you are not seeing the implied :-)'s. I'm a nice guy, really. A bit strange perhaps, with a pretty twisted sense of humor.... 5) Dont take life (and the net) so seriously. To borrow a quote from soc.women: "Lighten up, girls". 6) I get flamed in comp.sys.amiga for all my "this should be more like the way Apollo does it" statements. Sheesh. Sometimes a guy just cant win. In all deference, I've also heard an equal number of "gee, I like your stuff on USENET" comments. I just wanted to post this to clear up any misconception this I dont hold Apollo, or its computers in highest regard. We now return you to your regularly scheduled newsgroup.... -- Richard Sexton INTERNET: richard@gryphon.CTS.COM UUCP: {akgua, hplabs!hp-sdd, sdcsvax, ihnp4, nosc}!crash!gryphon!richard "It's too dark to put the key in my ignition..."
