[comp.sys.apollo] IP protocol layer access.

I recently ran into what seems to be a brick wall.  I was trying
to port he BSD4.3 ping program to the Apollo.  This requires
a RAW socket interface to the ICMP protocol.  However, Apollo only
documents support for stream and datagram protocols!  
My question:   How do I get at ICMP on the apollo?
