In a previous posting, I took a poll asking if we at Apollo should post
the part of new product announcement press releases to this group. The
response was quite positive, so we are going to begin doing this.
I received 26 responses; only 3 were negative. Several people asked for
more than just the new product announcements (announcement of contracts
and joint marketing agreeements were requested), or for the entire text
of the press release. 3 people asked for "more technical and less
hype"; 3 people (including two of the no's) cautioned against
commercial use of the net.
So, we'll give it a try. We will begin posting a few paragraphs of all
new product announcements to this group. The postings are considered
just as a note that something new is available; if you see something
you like, you can get more information, as usual, from us.
We hope that this helps you. As we go along, please let me know what
you think.
