[ont.events] The Dream is Alive / Hail Columbia

msb@lsuc.UUCP (Mark Brader) (09/25/85)

Since nobody has amended my earlier posting to the effect that
"The Dream is Alive" was showing until Labour Day, I guess I'd
better do so before it is too late. It has been held over.

You can now see BOTH of the IMAX space-shuttle movies, The Dream
is Alive and Hail Columbia, in one program at Ontario Place's
Cinesphere. Showtimes are 3, 5, 7, and 9 pm on weekends,
7 and 9 pm Wed-Fri (or Tue-Fri? I forget). That is for a
complete show of both films; they aren't all that long.

Reserved-seat tickets are available from BASS for $4.50. I have mine.
Demand is fairly high. If you want to see what the Earth really looks
like from space, you want to get yours... or so all the reviews say.

(Tickets will be available at the door, if there is space. No pun intended.)

The last show date is about October 6. Unfortunately I'm doing this
from memory, so it might be off a few days.
