I've had similar problems but have suspected the TCP/IP software. The suspicion is probably groundless except that we've had a lot of trouble with tcp/ip in the past. If anyone has a suggestion as to how to get around this I would be VERY interested in hearing about it. Back when we first got our TCP/IP up and running (circa version 1.0 of TCP, SR9.0) when would see our VT100 emulators hang when running TELNET. It was a TCP/IP problem, but that was fixed a *long* time ago. We are currently running SR9.7 and TCP 3.1, but we haven't seen the hung VT100 since at least SR9.2. -- David Krowitz krowitz@richter.mit.edu (18.83.0.109) krowitz%richter@eddie.mit.edu mit-erl!mit-richter!krowitz@eddie.mit.edu mit-erl!mit-richter!krowitz@mit-eddie.arpa krowitz@mit-mc.arpa (in order of decreasing preference)
