[comp.sys.apollo] two vt100 windows

In my startup file (Domain 3000, SR9.7), I have the commands to create
2 vt100 windows, but only one of them will open. The second one says it
"Cannot create vt100 window - no active servers (library/MBX manager)".
Is there a collision between the 2 servers being created at approximately
the same time? I have no trouble creating a second vt100 window once
started up. What can I do to fix it so both windows will open from the
startup file?

The problem is that the first VT100 you start must create another
process to run the VT100 server, before it can run. The second
VT100 will use the same server as the first one. Apparently, it
is getting started up so fast that it tries to connect to the
server's mailbox before the server has gotten it initialized.
Try putting a delay between starting the first VT100 window and
starting the second one, to give the server some time to get
initialized.
