Recently, several companies offer high capacity cartridge tape drives
for the Apollo 3000s and 4000s.
These tape drives seem to be ideal for doing backups. Some of them claim up
to 2 gigabytes of data can be stored on a single tape.
They interface thru the ATbus and the some use the exisiting commands -
rbak/wbak/rwmt/tar.
I found three companies that makes these. If you have any information, opinion,
gripes, praises, etc. about these machines, I would like to hear them since
we are looking into getting one.
