Re: Andrew Toolkit on Apollos. Apollo has ported the Andrew Toolkit (ATK) to their system. At some point, these modifications will probably get put into our distribution as well. (Sorry I can't give a firm date, but it depends on many things like when we get an Apollo machine and how extensive the modifications are.) I am not sure what version of DOMAIN (SR9.? or SR10) the port was done to. There are some involved issues in porting ATK. For example, we provide our own dynamic loader for 4.3 BSD systems. This is extremely dependent on the object module format. On an Apollo, you want to throw this piece of code away and use the shared library loader that Apollo provides. Other than that and a few other system dependencies, I heard the port was pretty straight forward. (In case any of you are wondering, the ATK is a toolkit to build "multi-media" applications. It is written using a homegrown object oriented preprocessor called "class" which works with virtually any C compiler. ATK supports many objects including rasters, multi-font formatted text, reasonably complicated drawings, and line animations.)
