Three of my colleagues just returned from the InterOps conference. The most striking bit of news (more than Mike Karels' Olympian gems :-) was the apparent TOTAL ABSENCE of Apollo representation.... Can anyone tell me where Apollo was? I'd really like to know, since my group is specifying workstations for a heterogeneous environment. -- Ken Sallenger # Dept. of Computer Science +1 803 777-4611 ken@usceast.UUCP # Univ. of South Carolina, Columbia, SC 29208 ken@cs.scarolina.edu (CSNET PhoneNet)

I can't speak for the company, but I suspect the the 7th Annual Apollo DOMAIN User's Society Conference in Washington, D.C. the 2nd-5th of October may have drained their available resources. Although there were no sales people at ADUS, there were approximately 50 Marketeers and 90 Research & Development folks in attendance. -Chris Christopher E.
