the other day, i mapped /lib/pmlib by issuing bind /lib/pmlib -map and found that there are routines like acl_$get_entry (or something like this). the manuals we have for aegis programmers cover only two routines under acl -- namely, aclm_$up and aclm_$down. there's nothing about acl_$get_entry and many more other routines i found in the map. my question is, did my vendor shortchange us on the manuals? how many manuals are we entitled to? what are they? many thanks in advance for any pointer. fclim --- gbopoly1 % nusvm.bitnet @ cunyvm.cuny.edu computer centre singapore polytechnic dover road singapore 0513.

No, what you are seeing are the unrelease internal system calls which Apollo uses internally. They don't want us end-users fooling around with the internal calls, so they don't put them in the documentation. -- David Krowitz krowitz@richter.mit.edu (18.83.0.109) krowitz%richter@eddie.mit.edu krowitz%richter@athena.mit.edu krowitz%richter.mit.edu@mitvma.bitnet (in order of decreasing preference)
