Just some clarifications, for those of you who may have been confused by discussions of sr10.0 and sr10.1 over the past months: sr10.1 is now a shipping product and (if I understand how all this works) should be sent to all customers who have the appropriate kind of software maintenance agreement with Apollo. (Not all software releases are automatically sent to all maintenance customers.) As you all must know by now, the DOMAIN/OS kernel is not genetically related to code from the AT&T Unix kernel. It's worth taking this opportunity to point out that sr10.1 is not only the first such Unix system to meet the AT&T System V Interface Definition (SVID), but that as far as I can tell, Apollo is the first vendor to be shipping workstations that meet the SVID. sr10.1 passes the System V Verification Suite (SVVS).
