Dear Apollo Users, We have recently purchased an Apollo DN10000 and may soon receive several 3500 and/or 4000's. Part of the time on this system is reserved for mathematical modeling projects. This work basically consists of the solution of large systems of algebraic equations and small systems of ordinary and partial differential eqns. related to models of physiological phenomena. It is important that the results be displayed in a convenient graphical form due to the complexity of the models. My request to all of you is for information concerning application software that is available for these machines. In particular I'm interested in high level graphics packages, finite element method (F.E.M.) and finite difference (F.D.) packages that include graphics post-processors that utilize 2 and 3-d GMR routines. However, information concerning any application software will be helpful. I know of and use the netlib facility and have ftp file transfer capabilities. I appreciate your consideration in this matter. I will summarize and post any information that I receive. Sincerely, Peter J.
