[comp.sys.apollo] GPR_$SET_CLIPPING_ACTIVE and a Dn580

I tried to use gpr_$set_clip_window and gpr_$set_clipping_active to
create a border around some graphics the other day, and the following
happened to me:

       On a DN660, and a DN4000, the program worked nicely. On a DN580T,
       however, as soon as a line was drawn outside the clip window,
       the node froze up, not crashing, but not responding to the network,
       either. The D light continued to flash, but the cursor didn't.

       Is there something I should know about 580's and clipping that I
       don't?
