We have some users that own directories on nodes other than the node where their home directory resides (Hope you can follow that!). They typically move to those directories through a command like cd <some symbolic link> rather than typing the full pathname. Some of these links resolve to directories on Apollo nodes, while others resolve to nodes that are remote mounted via Domain NFS. Question: Since all the users' home directories presently reside on one 760 MB disk, is it possible for me to back up across all the symbolically linked directories on other nodes while backing up this principal disk? It sure would be very convenient for me if this is possible. If it is any help, all of our Apollo nodes (DN 10000 and DN3500s) are running BSD 4.3 under SR 10.
