I'm at sr9.7, so this question probably doesn't apply to sr10 users: Is there a way create files using ms_$mapl that aren't of type 'nil'? I need the functionality of mapping a program pointer into a disk file without all the virtual memory swapping, but need to use these files in other applications. Someday, I'll modify all of my programs to use ms_$mapl, but for now I'd also like to be able to use fopen() to read these same files. I guess at sr10, everything is 'unstruct', but I have peripherals, and therefore can't go to sr10 until probably this fall. Thanks in advance, Scott Ferguson ferguson@erevax.bitnet Exxon Research & Engineering
