The following is for a friend who does not have news access yet: ----^-------^-------^-------^-- tear here --^-------^-------^-------^---- I am trying to get two Kermits to talk to each other. Kermit-1 is on a Sys V machine connected by modem. Kermit-2 is on an Apollo machine w/ SR9.7 and BSD which is on an Ethernet. I dial from Kermit-1 into a modem server, then telnet over to the machine where Kermit-2 lives. When I ask Kermit-2 to send, it says ``/dev/tty: Not a typewriter'', and this appears to be a message from the BSD machine. How can I tell Kermit-2 to talk to the telnet link, instead of the serial port it seems to want? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
