Greetings - Im the manager of a group of (currently Sun/DEC) programmers looking into support of Apollo DN3000/DN3500s for a group on campus that owns a handful. Would anyone like to share their opinions of what it takes to care and feed 10-12 Apollo nodes? Contrasts to taking care of Sun equipment would be most useful, as that is what we do most of at present. The nodes run (or will run) SR10.1, but I have quickly realized that "UNIX" is in the eye of the beholder. Things like shell-variable determined file links, cataloging nodes, lots of extra startup files, edrgy and the like are new to me.
