[comp.sys.apollo] Have you seen this?

I just wrote a tar cartridge on my 580-T, no problem. It took as long as
I expected, and listed all of the 100 files as it wrote them.

Next, I rewound the tape and did an index like this:

% tar tvf /dev/rct8

It indexed ony 4 of the 100 files that it just wrote.
Next, I read the first file back off. It was nothing like the original,
just lots of garbage.

I'm at 9.7.0.4, with all of the ctape patches installed. Anyone ever see
this one?
