Does anyone out there know if the SR10.x C compilers will run on the DN10000 or do you need a different version of the C compiler to compile programs for it? ============================================================================ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=<<<<<([Dave Hayes])>>>>>=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= dave%jplopto@jpl-mil.jpl.nasa.gov | Jet Propulsion Laboratory M/S 300-329 {cit-vax,ames}!elroy!jplopto!dave | 4800 Oak Grove Drive Pasadena, CA 91109 BIX: dhayes | (818) 354-1910 "Real Wisdom is to respect relative truth without damaging oneself by refusing to realize that it will be superceded." ============================================================================

The entire suite of compilers is differnet for the DN10000. The functionality is the same, but the assembly produced is radically different than the MC680x0 series. I believe the current version is cc.v.6.5.p. The designations for the different cc compilers is given below. cc.v.6.5.p Prism native compiler cc.c.6.5.mpx MC680x0 to Prism cross compiler cc.v.6.5.pmx Prism to MC680x0 cross compiler Actually, the last compiler is not available yet, but it is coming. The naming for the other language compilers is similar. Andrew Wescott University of Houston Department of Chemical Engineering
