[comp.sys.apollo] New magazine for Apollo/HP workstations coming.

jch@apollo.COM (Jan Hardenbergh) (06/22/89)

A couple of weeks ago I responded to an inquiry about magazines
for Apollo users. I suggested the Ring from ADUS and the Edge
from Apollo Marketing. I just received mail about a new magazine
for Apollo/HP workstations and thought you all would be interested.

To Whom It May Concern,

There is another publication that Apollo users will want to see --
HP/Apollo Workstation. Set to debut at the ADUS show in September (and at
HP's Interex user show), Workstation is dedicated to promoting user interests
ts,
reporting the latest news on Apollo/HP and third-party products and strategies, as well as providing useful features, user profiles, technical tips, and
tutorials -- specifically for HP and Apollo users.
HP/Apollo Workstation is the new name -- and focus -- for a seasoned
publication. Formerly, HP Design & Automation magazine, Workstation has covered
the Hewlett-Packard technical computing marketplace for the last four years.
Anyone interested in receiving a sample issue of the magazine can
request one by e-mailing cs.utexas.edu!pcinews!hpdna, or by calling 800-888-
5093 and sking for the editor, Aubrey McAuley, or by writing said editor at:
	HP/Apollo Workstation
	12416 Hymeadow Dr.
	Austin, TX 78750

HP/Apollo Workstation is an independent publication by PCI, which
publishes more than 20 vendor-specific computer newspapers.

Sincerely,
Aubrey McAuley, Editor
HP D&A [HP/Apollo Workstation]
HP/Apollo Workstation is also looking for experienced Apollo users
to share their experience with others through writing. If you are interested
in contributing, request a set of writers guidelines at the above addresses.

Sincerely,
Aubrey McAuley
