[comp.sys.apollo] Building Apollo GnuEmacs from Source

wescott@LNIC1.HPRC.UH.EDU (Andrew M. Wescott) (06/23/89)

I have tried to build the Apollo GPR version of GnuEmacs 18.54
on top of the standard 18.54 tree without success. When I
initiate the build with "% build-apollo-emacs" everything goes
fine until the end when /gnuemacs/lisp/cl-indent.el is loaded,
and I get the error message below. I have the same problem on
our DN3500s and the DN10000. The problem also occurs with
the standard cl-indent.el- file. Does someone know of a problem
here? I'd just as soon keep clear of lisp.

Thanks in advance,

I had the same problem when I tried compiling under SR10.1.
I would also like to know how to fix the problem so we can
make it available to our users. Thanks.
