I have a program that uses ptys to communicate with its child.
If its child is local to this host, everythings ok.
If its child is rlogin, and then an emt is started on the remote node, characters are dropped.
All is fine on the remote node till emt is invoked.
If emt is in local mode, all is still fine;
as soon as the remote host starts sending stuff, however, characters start disappearing.
It looks like a flow-control problem, but I'm not sure of this.
I didn't use any fancy pty modes.
Any guesses as to who is eating my characters? :-)
