Ok, I'm tired of complaining about this, but (flame flame) the SIO driver for SR10 is giving me headaches, specifically with regard to filename completion. When I hit <esc> with a unique prefix in the input buffer, it completes the word correctly, but the input buffer is emptied. Thus, if junk.c is the only filename beginning with 'j' in the current directory, then "% ex j<esc><cr>" immediately produces another prompt. If I follow the <esc> with a control-R (the reprint character), no text is printed, which indeed seems to indicate an empty input buffer. What's going on here! It does work from a vt100 pad, again pointing to the SIO driver as being the culprate!! Please mail responses to me (rich@eddie.mit.edu). I guess I should also say that this problem aside, the SIO support under SR10 is *much* *much* improved over earlier releases!! Hurrah!! :-) -- -- Rich (rich@eddie.mit.edu). The circle is open, but unbroken. Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again.
