We have a DataProducts LZR2665 laser printer on our Apollo network and have found the print quality very poor. This is especially so with Interleaf. The printer does not seem to handlr downloaded fonts so we use the native fonts of the printer. Have other people found the same problem and if so did they find a fix. One expensive solution is to convert it to a RIPRINT but other packages will not be able to use it. TeX does does work with it either. This printer has been a lemon for us. We wanted it for the A3 postscript capablity. We also have Mentor Graphics s/w which prints poorly on it as well. And yes.. we have had DP here several times to tune it! How about a postscript to RiPrint filter? Is there one available? Thank you in advance.P Len Sciacca Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science University of Newcastle, N.S.W., Australia email: ljs@nucs.cc.nu.oz.au
