In volume 5, Number 9, page16 of HP Design and Automation (An independent newsmagazine for HP/Apollo workstation users) I noticed an article entitled "Software Manages Network Login, Password Information". This article starts by saying "Apollo Computer Inc. has introduced the Passwd Etc user registry system for NCS." It later claims that "Passwd Etc is bundled with Apollo's Domain/OS operating system and is standard with all Apollo workstations." WHERE DO I SIGN UP !!!!!! Apollo claims that Passwd is a significant enhancement over existing registry management tools for UNIX systems! Thank God. We've had a lot of trouble with the management tools on our 3500 which is connected to a local network that includes other stand-alone Apollo workstations. Does anyone out there know anything significant about Passwd Etc ? Does Apollo now bundle Domain/OS with this tool? What sort of enhancements does it offer? Is there a God? Thanks -Paul
