Hello, I've encountered a strange bug?? in man. When I invoke the man command it returns the following message: Unable to create a read window for catx/command name not found (os/naming server) With catx some directory in /usr/man/ When I reboot the node, the man command works just fine but after a day, or less, it will produce the error again. First I thougt it was a protection problem of the manual pages but I checked that and there is no problem at all. The pages are mode 666 and the mode of the command is 4755. So there shouldn't be a problem in that. We are running SR10.1 BSD4.3 only. Could it be that the DM causes this error, or is it a error in man itself. The message "Unable to create a read window for ...." is a message produced by the man command it self (see also strings man). So if someone outhere in netland could give some pointers to the solution of the problem. Tnx in advance Cees Keyer. -- DISCLAIMER: I am not insane, I am a plane. pjew!
