We've recently replaced our DPCC cards with a new 386 board made by PC elevator. The reason for replacing the board was to take advantage of the faster processing speed of the 386 chip. As it turns out, the PC Elevator board is significantly slower than the DPCC card that runs the 286 chip. I have a DN3000 running sr9.7, Typically my node crashes about twice a week but i'm not sure if this is being caused by the PC elevetor card. I also noticed my node to be very slow since the card was installed. The dspst window shows that the PC elevator card is using 37.9% of the CPU just sitting idle. Any action in that window typically uses up 65% of the CPU, at one point while running a program that accesses many files it actually went to 103%. Has any one had any experience with these cards or have any idea why it is such a CPU hog. Our sys admin has no solution yet, if we don't come up with a fix we'll probably pull them out and put back the old DPCC cards. Thanks in advance, David Aharoni
