Terry Woloszyn Tandem Accelerator Lab McMaster University Hamilton, Ontario Voice: 525-9140 (4046) Bitnet: terry@tandem An interesting (and timely) talk on VAX memory, and what is available has been arranged. This will be followed by a demonstration of a new 4GL database applications generator that verges on being an expert system. Create your own database without having to learn another language, it's menu driven and very fast. The meeting will be held Thursday, April 16, 1987 at 1:30 PM (Not to be confused with AM), in the John Hodgins Engineering building Room 264, McMaster University. Coffee and doughnuts will be served between discussions. The meeting will close with a quick discussion of user group business. At the first meeting, I tried to introduce a new item to the meeting agenda; "Software/Hardware Gripes". Anybody who has programmed or managed on a VAX has probably run into bugs of all kinds. If you have found an annoying bug in the works, bring it along to the meeting. Somebody else may have found an answer to your problem, or can enlighten you on where you may have erred.
