I have just successfully built CAP (Columbia Appletalk Package) on my DN10000 so that I can (hopefully) direct printjobs to postscipt printers attached to our ethernet LAN using Apple localtalk protocols. Everything looks reasonable. atlook can see all of the printers and I used lwsrv to successfully send a print job. But ..... I want to spool the jobs using the Berkeley spooling system with the input and output filters papif and papof. If anyone has done this already, what should my printcap entry look like ??? Should I remove the pc= entry directing the printing system to use prf ?? What should be used instead? Any other hints at all :-) ? ian -- Ian Hoyle /\/\ Computer Systems Superintendent / / /\ BHP Melbourne Research Laboratories / / / \ 245 Wellington Rd, Mulgrave, 3170 / / / /\ \ AUSTRALIA \ \/ / / / \ / / / Phone : +61-3-560-7066 \/\/\/ ACSnet : ianh@merlin.bhpmrl.oz.au Internet: ianh%merlin.bhpmrl.oz.au@uunet.uu.net
