I have a single DN2500 (with the 10.2.a OS) in a network of DN4500's, DN3500's, and 1 DN10000 with 10.1 (Unix BSD). I have set an internet number using the rtsvc command and everything is working fine except the DN2500 which I just installed. I set the DN2500 up and set the rtsvc in the rc startup file just like in the rest of my system. The DN2500 comes up with a new and different network number completely different from mine. I have deleted all the hint files, rebooted everything on the network, and even disconnected the the DN2500 from the network - but it always comes up with this strange number. I have called Apollo, their response was that there must be some other Apollo router on the network. This is not true since I have checked with the other system administrators. Does anybody have any ideas? I may have to just leave this DN2500 on it's own. Maybe some of you more experienced Apollo pros can hellllllppppp - Thanks.
