I am composing and posting this note on a non-Apollo system where I temporarily have a guest account. I would like to be able to use mail and notes on our in-house Apollo systems, but so far I have found only deadends. Our systems are DN3010 and DN3500 running SR9.7 with BSD; the closest I have come is an Apollo SE who told me it was easy on SR10, but he had never even used SR9. He had also never heard of notes, and I don't think he was using phone/modem connections. Are any of you reading these notes on Apollos running SR9.7? If so, can you help me find out what software, hardware, and documentation I need to get access to usenet from an Apollo? Also, if the answer is that we have to use SR10, this may finally be the reason that we have to take the plunge.
